Mattress Deliveries

Two days every week are designated for mattress deliveries. The number of neighbors in need of beds (averaging 20-24 each week) and the size of our service area require that deliveries are organized according to geographic location and dates needed. 

 In order to ensure that staff can complete all deliveries on the date scheduled with the neighbor, mattresses will be delivered to just inside the door of the neighbor’s residence.

Deliveries do not include:

  • Bringing the mattresses into specific rooms
  • Installing/setting up the beds/box springs, or
  • Removing the previous mattress/boxspring.

Vincentians should make arrangements within their Conference to assist neighbors with mattress setup or removal, when needed.

Please be prepared with the neighbors address, phone number, date needed, and the size of requested items.

Canceling, Changing & Fixing Errors on Bed Orders

To cancel, change or report an error in a bed order, please send us an email at mattress@svdpseattle.org providing your name, your conference name and the name of the neighbor who is to receive a bed. Charges for bed orders will be included on the conference monthly statement. For questions on billing, contact the Finance Department at finance@svdpseattle.org.
