Sister Conference Partnership Program (SCP)

The SVdP Sister Conference Partnership (SCP) program has been created to establish partnerships between Conferences who are willing and able to share resources with their sister Conferences in need. The new Sister Conference program will take the place of the current informal twinning process.

Types of support:

  • Financial
  • Making phone calls
  • Making in-person visits
  • Officer mentoring
  • Spiritual
  • Language
  • Other

As devoted Vincentians, we know that our priority is to do what we can to provide assistance to our neighbors. It's equally important that we work together to provide support and encouragement to Conferences in need. Our objective is for all Conferences to have the ability to serve our neighbors well and continue the work of St. Vincent de Paul across our county.

Application Review

Once approved, participants will take part in an initial three-way meeting between a member of the SCP Committee and the two participating Conferences.

During the course of the program, participating Conferences will be expected to submit quarterly reports.

Upon submitting your application: You will receive an email notifying you of your recommended partnership along with contact information for the SCP committee. The next step will be setting up the initial meeting between the sister conferences, which a member of the committee will facilitate.
