Board Policy Documents
Background
At its May 2002 meeting, the Board adopted the following resolution:
The Board of Directors of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, Council of the Seattle Area, In order to (a) clarify roles, (b) provide better leadership, (c) delegate better to staff, (d) be more accountable, Adopts the Policy Governance model, as explained in “Boards That Make A Difference”, John Carver (Jossey-Bass: 1990).
Policy Chapters
